Members pay the actual charges registered on the cab meter by using the voucher coupons just like cash, NOT to exceed $15 per ride. Ticket books are purchased at a reduced rate based upon income. Upon approval, the member is eligible to purchase a ticket book of five vouchers. A Transportation Application (PDF) is required to qualify for the service.
Dial-A-Taxi is an economical taxi cab service designed to provide demand responsive curb-to-curb transportation for disabled ambulatory Signal Hill residents age 18 and over, and seniors age 50 and over, who have no other means of transportation.
